What is ToP?
The Technology of Participation (ToP) is a powerful collection of structured facilitation methods that transform the way groups think, talk and work together.
Whether you work on the cutting edge of technology and design, in the complex worlds of academia, healthcare, or government, or on the front lines of social change, ToP methods enable inclusive and meaningful group collaboration that leads to successful outcomes.

The ToP Network:
The Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA)
The Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA) is a global network of organizations using participatory processes for community development.
The programs of the ICA aim to strengthen the capacities of individuals, organizations, and communities to build and implement innovative plans of action that draw upon assets and social capital in a collaborative manner.
ToP methodologies were developed by the ICA and have been tested and applied across the world for over 40 years, in every kind of setting - from rural villages and middle school classrooms to IBM boardrooms and the United Nations.
