HOST THE GATHERING
Each year a different city hosts the Gathering, and the ToP Network Gathering Team organizes the event. If you think your city might be a good candidate to host a future Gathering, contact Robert Quintana Hopkins, 2020 Gathering Co-Chair, at robertquintanahopkins@gmail.com.
The Gathering Team is made up of local volunteers from the host city, volunteers from the ToP family across the country, and ToP Network board members.

Is my city or region a good site for the Gathering?
Good host regions have a few things:
- an active training program (at least 50 participants each year)
- real-life examples of ToP being applied in the local community
- able to form a host team of at least 3 ToP-trained people from the local area.
What are the benefits of hosting?
- increase ToP’s local visibility
- strengthen and connect your local practitioner community
- develop rising leaders in your local area
- showcase local achievements
- bring new or specialized courses to your area
- put your city on the map as a ToP hub!
What does the Gathering team have to do?
Gathering Co-Chairs (must have past Gathering experience)
- convene and facilitate team meetings, monitor registration and budget, ensure big picture coordination, recruit a team
Facilities/ Logistics Team
- research and organize venue, lodging, food, travel, A/V, space setup
- busiest in March-May
Program Team
- determine overall schedule, workshops, courses
- busiest in June-September
Communication/Outreach
- create and manage website, social media, branding and messaging
- busiest in June-October
Local Experience Team
- ensure local "vibe," swag and decor, area activities and attractions, host opening welcome
- busiest in October-December
Board Liaison (an active board member with past Gathering experience)
- ensure communication between board and TNAG Team
